Meet Sarah Mei Chang, an eight-year-old girl, along with her loving family. Her parents, Rose and Calvin, run a bustling grocery store in the heart of Chinatown, where they serve the community with a smile, together with her devoted paternal grandmother, Fang, who infuses the store with wisdom and tradition. Sarah has big dreams; she aspires to play the drums, feeling the rhythm in her bones, and practice martial arts to build her strength and confidence. However, her path has taken an unforeseen turn, leading her to reside in the temple to navigate her challenges with the guidance of Teacher Tao, the Dhamma of the temple.
